Garbage Classification V.1

Context & Challenge

This project is the final capstone project from MBKM SIB Batch 1 Programs, Learning Path Machine Learning and Front-End Web Development at Dicoding Indonesia. Building a Web-based Garbage Classification Application with Machine Learning and Front-End Web Development using TensorFlow.js.In this capstone project, we chose the theme of waste and pollution solutions. We created a garbage image classification application using Web-based Machine Learning technology. We have a background problem, namely because of the waste problem which is of course close to our daily lives. This waste problem has not been managed and resolved properly and requires serious attention because of the significant impact. The solution is to segregate and sort waste by type to facilitate recycling. We hope that using the Garbage Classification Web Application can be a small step and an innovation in waste management, especially in waste sorting using Machine Learning technology.

Architecture & Scope

1. The solution can be made using a platform that is suitable for learning in the Dicoding SIB.
2. All decisions and evaluations of the Challenge winners are final and cannot be contested.
3. The solution is a new solution that has never won a challenge on Dicoding or a similar competition.
4. The solution is made by participants and does not commit plagiarism or violate the Intellectual Property Rights of other Creators/Developers.
5. Works can be made individually or in teams. Each individual/team can submit one work.
